Constituent services are job #1 for a City Councilor. To be able to exercise the power of one’s office to help others is the cornerstone of public service. My career began as a constituent services representative for Congressman Joseph Kennedy. There, I learned the importance of reaching out to underrepresented communities and giving them the voice they so desperately need. My time serving constituents has been transformative, deeply satisfying, and is one of the many reasons I want to be your next Councilor At Large.

As Your Councilor, I pledge to:

Name a member of my staff Constituent Services Director. This person will have the same commitment to the community as I do, and will oversee staff outreach and service as we head out into the many neighborhoods of Boston to help those in need.

Assign members of my staff to specific neighborhoods and organizations. They will be a team of Neighborhood Liaisons that will regularly attend community association meetings to listen and respond to neighborhood concerns that can be addressed through city services and resources. They will routinely participate in community events and activities on behalf of our office and will provide resource information and to further connect residents to their local government.

Ensure you have access to all information regarding public meetings and hearings, provide regular email updates and guarantee my staff and I are responsive to your concerns and questions.
