I am writing because I think City Councilor At-Large Ayanna Pressley's re-election is vitally important. I am voting for her and asking you to give one of your votes to her on November 8th.
Ayanna has been a strong and unique voice on the City Council. She founded a new legislative committee - the Committee on Women and Healthy Communities, focused on breaking cycles of poverty and violence. In her first term, she held a first-of-its-kind listening only hearing on community violence, partnered with residents all over the City to successfully save libraries and library worker jobs, and called for updates in Boston Public Schools to make sure our youth are on a pathway to success.
We need her voice on the Council. Please join me in voting to re-elect Ayanna on November 8th.
